About Me

About Me

Jasper is an early-career artist who primarily works in acrylic paint, oil pastels, and watercolour. Inspired by human form, visual tempo and symbolism. He was born and raised in Bruce County, mostly in the rural side of the town of Kincardine, Ontario. Currently, he lives in the Bickford Park area of Toronto, Ontario. Always being interested in fully pursuing the tactical aspects of the Visual arts, he is currently in the final year of the FAS program at Centennial College. Formally starting to exhibit in 2025, he has shown work at the TPL, Leslie Grove Gallery, The Clarks Art Center and The Walker House Museum. Growing up in a lively country family, while being the quiet and queer one, gave him a very introspective experience growing up. Now, being in the city and experiencing the new independence and variety of knowledge and life around me continues to shape my current artistic style and practice.
